The Case of the Missing Computers

Trick-E goes to school for toy day. He packs spare batteries in case the school is in Antarctica. He hangs off Theo's bike. And when the school's new computers go missing, he and Theo find a way to catch the thief that may or may not involve mind-reading.

How the stories work

Trick-E tells every story himself. He narrates what he sees and what he thinks is going on, which is often not what's going on. The kids lead the adventure; he reports it. He is capable with a crane, curious about people, sometimes mistaken, and happy to accept help.

They started as a bedtime story told out loud and recorded in one take. The comic came from the recording. That's the order we like: story first, pictures second, robot third.
