Reservation terms

These terms apply when you reserve a Trick-E on cowboymachines.com. We've kept them short and plain.

These terms are available in several languages. The German version is the legally binding one; this English version is a translation for your convenience (Deutsche Fassung).

1. Who you're dealing with

2. What a reservation is

For €299 you reserve one Trick-E. A reservation is not a purchase, and it doesn't oblige you to buy. €299 is the whole amount you pay now; nothing is added on top.

The expected price of Trick-E is €1,299, including VAT for delivery within the EU, plus shipping. It is an expected price, not a final one: we confirm the final price together with the final specs before production, and it can go up or down. If you buy, your €299 counts toward the price.

How a reservation is made: the button on our reserve page takes you to a checkout page run by our payment provider, Stripe. There you enter your details, can check and correct them, accept these terms and pay. The reservation contract is made when your payment goes through, and you get a receipt by email. The contract languages are German and English. We keep a record of your reservation and every version of these terms; ask at hello@cowboymachines.com and we send you the version that applies to your reservation. 3. Cancel any time, get your €299 back

Until you confirm the purchase (section 4), you can cancel your reservation at any time, without giving a reason. Email hello@cowboymachines.com from the address you reserved with, or tell us that address. We refund the full €299 to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your email and free of charge.

4. Confirming the final specs and price

Before we start production, we email you the final production specs of Trick-E, including the redesigned arm and the drive unit, together with the final price, the shipping cost to your address, the expected delivery date and our terms of sale. Then you decide:

If the final specs or the final price differ from what we expected, the choice is still yours, and saying no costs you nothing.

5. When it ships, and if we can't deliver

We expect to ship in autumn 2027. That's our plan, not a fixed delivery date; the expected delivery date for your Trick-E comes with the confirmation email. If you don't want to wait, you can cancel at any time before you confirm (section 3).

If we don't go into production, or can't deliver to your address, we refund your €299 in full.

Every refund of a reservation is made in full, free of charge, to the payment method you used, within 14 days of your cancellation, your no, the end of the time to confirm, or our decision not to go into production or not to deliver to your address.

6. Shipping, import duty and taxes

We ship worldwide. You pay shipping. Prices for delivery within the EU include VAT. If you live outside the EU, your country may charge import duty and taxes when Trick-E arrives; you pay those too.

7. Sharing and referrals

We may start a referral programme later. If we do, its rules are published separately, and they don't change these terms.

8. Your statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you also have the statutory right of withdrawal below. It runs alongside your right to cancel in section 3, which lasts longer: until you confirm the purchase. The notice follows the official model wording.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Tuul UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Marlene-Dietrich-Allee 15, 14482 Potsdam, Germany, email: hello@cowboymachines.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at cowboymachines.com/withdraw/. If you use this online function, we will send you a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without undue delay, with the content of your withdrawal declaration and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

For a reservation we never ask for that amount: if you withdraw, you get all of your €299 back.

9. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you normally live.

10. Disputes

If something goes wrong, write to us at hello@cowboymachines.com and we'll sort it out with you. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
